A Night Shift employee is needed in a Marrickville pasta plant to work with a small group of noodle producers. Hours are 12 a.m. to 10 a.m. from Monday through Friday. Picking and packing will be part of the job, as well as cleaning and general assistance to pasta manufacturers. The chosen candidate will receive on-the-job training to become a high-end pasta maker. Factory-Hand / Pasta maker duties include working on a fast-paced production line, measuring and cutting pasta to the correct size, as well as packaging it for distribution.
They may also be responsible for quality control, making sure that the pasta meets all safety and quality standards before it is sent out to customers. Factory-Hand / Pasta makers typically work in factories or food processing plants. Some may also work in restaurants or grocery stores that have their own pasta-making facilities. The hours can be long and shift work is often required.
Must be well-spoken, have good communication skills, show initiative, and do some heavy lifting. Factory-Hand / Pasta maker staff must have experience in a similar field. They will be responsible for operating the machinery that makes the pasta, as well as for packaging and labeling the product. There may also be some cleaning duties involved. Factory-Hand / Pasta maker staff must be able to work quickly and efficiently, while following all safety protocols.
Some overtime may be required, especially during busy periods. Factory-Hand / Pasta maker staff must be hardworking, reliable, friendly and very good communication skills required for the role. They will be responsible for making sure that the pasta production line is running smoothly and that all of the pasta products are of a high standard. There may also be some cleaning duties involved in this role.
