We are looking for reliable Part-time Cleaners to join our team. This position is based in Blackheath, so applicants must have their own vehicle and be able to travel there. The hours are Monday through Sunday from 5am to 8am and the rate of pay is $30 on ABN basis only. Applicants should have prior commercial cleaning experience and must provide a Police Check as well as ID with your current address when applying for this role.
Commercial cleaning staff are responsible for providing a wide range of services to businesses and other facilities. These duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, window washing, restroom cleaning, waste removal and disposal, stocking supplies such as soap and paper towels in restrooms and break rooms, shampooing carpets and upholstery when needed, floor treatment with sealants or waxes, spot cleaning walls and carpets as necessary. They may also be asked to make minor repairs that are related to the cleanliness of the facility such as changing light bulbs or unclogging drains.
In addition to cleaning services, commercial cleaners may also provide janitorial services such as emptying trash bins and recycling containers, sweeping and scrubbing floors, cleaning windows, walls, and ceilings. They may also be asked to maintain outdoor areas such as parking lots and sidewalks by clearing debris and salting icy surfaces.
Commercial cleaners must have a keen eye for detail in order to ensure that all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. It is important that they understand the importance of following industry standards in maintaining cleanliness in each area of the facility. They should be able to use various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to policies regarding the disposal of hazardous materials.
